Mobile Click Counting: Ergonomics, Haptics & One-Handed Smartphone Tallying
Universal Digital Accessibility Commitment.
TallyCounter Pro is committed to aiding in the digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We want all essential and basic tooling to be available to all, irrespective of their physical, sensory impairment, neurodiversity and/or assistive services used. Our web clickers constantly improve and we regularly test our web content against international recognised standards, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
Across our tools 2. Improvements in accessibility are achieved by concrete work that is released.
We have used the following types of applications to ensure easy use of the site by screen readers, speech recognition devices, switch devices and keyboard virtualization:
Full Keyboard Operability:
All the counter tools can be used without the mouse or touch screen. Move up, down and reset with the R key using the Up Arrow, Spacebar and Down Arrow keys. Clearly visible high contrast outlines and rings of focus.
Use digits 1-5 to count with ARIA.Count by 5s to 25 using digits from 1 to 5.
Digital count displays apply aria-live="polite" attributes to the display so that screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, Talkback) can speak the numbers (count) that have been changed, without taking the focus off of the webpage.
High-Contrast Color Tokens:
WCAG (AAA) conformant contrast ratios of 7:1 against dark grey background insure high contrast between tools and text with our obsidian black tools and bright shiny display numbers and lines.
Accessible Touch Targets:
Buttons, chips and incremented areas are larger than 48x48 CSS pixels so making a button click is easy for people with motor tremors and those that have difficulty using fine motor skills.
Multi-Sensory Feedback (Audio & Haptics):
If targets are met; Non-visual users with low-visual ability get a synthesized sound "click" and unique chords of harmonic completion through our Web Audio API. Physically tangible feedback – haptic vibration – definitely comes into play where touchscreens are concerned, and they are supported by the mobile phone.
The operating system media query prefers-reduced-motion: reduce: should be used to minimize the use of motion.Reduce the amount of motion using OS media query: prefers-reduced-motion: reduce:
Minimal motion will be used and for people who may experience problems with vestibular motion, animation and smooth motion will be set to default.
3. Standards & Technical Specifications
TallyCounter Pro is accessible using up-to-date Web technologies that are converging:
Structural elements of the HTML5 documents used correctly (header, main, article, nav, footer).
WAI-ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) 1.2 properties for interactive controls.
By default Vanilla will adopt the fluid clamp typography, plus a responsive viewport that will allow the users to break out of the fixed size clamp.
But, the normal logic on client side was not written based on the different vendors plugins but using normal ECMAScript technology.
It is a place for Continuous Testing & Continuous Evaluation (Harnesh/It IRS reAE).
We continually test our counter tools – in actual scenarios:
Desktops:
The operating systems will be: Windows 11, NVDA, and Microsoft narrator; macOS Sonoma, and Apple VoiceOver.
Operating System (OS): What operating system are they using? What is your operating system? (what OS you are using?)
iOS Accessibility (VoiceOver & Haptic Touch), Android 14 (Google TalkBack).
Accessibility Auditing on the basis of Automated tools like Lighthouse, DevTools axe and WAVE Web Accessibility evaluation Tool.
A Feedback portal, another portal to help you.
Even though all measures are taken to ensure access for all there may be anomalies with combinations of legacy browser or special assistive devices. We want to hear you, your views are valued! In case you have an accessibility problem, or any help using a Tool available in TallyCounter Pro:

Be sure to indicate which type of AT you used, and the tool URL. An Accessible Alternative and/or Remediation Timeline will be provided within 2 business days.
6. Comprehensively Assistive Technology Compatibility Matrix (CAT).
In all honesty, our entire list of evaluated evaluations contains Tally Counter Pro's compatibility list, which is kept up-to-date with combinations of screen readers and assistive periphery input devices that work successfully with TallyCounter Pro:
This is NVDA, the nonVisual Desktop Access program. This is the nonVisual Desktop Access program (NVDA).
Tesztelt a Mozilla Firefox és a Google Chrome navigátorban a Windows 11 operációs rendszeren. Accessibly named descriptive text properly matches all buttons on the counters and live region/state and number of live regions is correct.
JAWS (Job Access With Speech):
Tested on chrome for Windows and MS Edge. Smooth transitions between the landmarks, headings and interactive sets of buttons.
For macOS Sonoma and iOS 17 (VoiceOver for Mac & iOS):
Vocalized Target reach, 2fingers double tap triggers and full functional gesture controls.
Google TalkBack (Android 14):
Completely tested on haptic feedback devices where haptic feedback is used to enhance TalkBack audio feedback.
SA & Single-Switch Devices:
Regular single and double switch for complete keyboard control, without using the Spacebar & Enter keys.
7. Ongoing remediation plan + Accessibility governance
Digital accessibility is not a ‘tick the box' task – it is a technique that should be used when building software. Automated access linters are now part of our processes so that we can install an access linter before deployment to check out accessibility gearboxes introduced to us.
We review our future counter work flow with the standards bodies every 6 months and undergo an in-depth manual accessibility audit, with persons with low vision, blind and motor-disability. We are always open to suggestions from potential users, including the accessibility advocacy organizations, how to make our interfaces for count digital more accessible, via our exclusive Accessibility Compliance Coordinator - accessibility@tallycounter.pro.
9. Technology & Inclusion
Our technical auditing is not only for WCAG 2.1 AA compliance, but also other international technical audit standards including the United States Rehabilitation Act, Section 508, the EN 301 549 European Union directive on accessibility requirements for public sector web and mobile applications and the UK Public Sector Bodies Accessibility Regulations.
The text information in all tables with numeric information is extremely similar, and can be accessed through a view port using the mobile magnifiers or using a specially developed user-agent style-sheet, or via a high-contrast visual style of the operating system (except for images).
